PitReels is for what fans recorded themselves. If something here is yours and shouldn’t be, tell our designated agent.
This page is a draft. It hasn’t had a lawyer’s review, and the marked gaps aren’t filled in yet.
Send a notice
Send it to our designated agent:
the designated agent’s name, postal address, email and phone, as registered with the US Copyright Office
It needs all of this:
- Your signature, physical or electronic.
- The work you say was copied.
- The address of each page on PitReels you’re asking us to take down.
- How to reach you.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you’re authorized to act for the rights holder.
What happens next
- We take down what the notice names and tell each fan why.
- Each fan named gets a strike, which is lifted if everything of theirs in the notice is restored.
- Fans who repeatedly infringe lose their accounts.
If your upload was taken down
If you think it was a mistake, send the designated agent a counter-notice with all of this:
- Your signature.
- What was removed, and where it was.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that it was removed by mistake.
- Your name, address and phone number.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the court.
We forward it to whoever sent the notice. Unless they tell us they’ve gone to court, your upload comes back 10 to 14 business days later.
